Guoco lifts stake in Rank to 12.67 percent

LONDON, June 12 (Reuters) - Asia-based Guoco raised its stake on Thursday in Britich casino, bingo and online betting company Rank Group Plc (RNK.L) to 12.67 percent from 12.02.

The move by Guoco, run by Quek Leng Chan, is likely to add further fuel to speculation that the Asian firm is considering a bid for the UK group. (Reporting by Matthew Scuffham; Editing by Louise Ireland)
