Aer Lingus says 2009 "3-figure" mln loss possible
DUBLIN, Aug 28 (Reuters) - Irish airline Aer Lingus (AERL.I) expects a loss between 22 million and 30 million euros in 2008 and sees a "3-figure" million loss as possible for 2009, Chief Financial Officer Sean Coyle said on Thursday.
Aer Lingus (AERL.L) said earlier on Thursday that high costs threatened the long-term viability of its business. Coyle said the carrier would give details of planned cost cutting measures by the end of September. (Reporting by Andras Gergely; Editing by Erica Billingham)
