Dana Petroleum H1 profit doubles on oil price

LONDON, Aug 29 (Reuters) - UK oil producer Dana Petroleum (DNX.L) reported on Friday a more than doubling in first-half net profit to 60.37 millon pounds ($111 million), driven by higher oil prices and rising production.

Dana said production rose 67 percent to 43,147 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the first six months of the year. (Reporting by Tom Bergin; Editing by Erica Billingham)
