LONDON, May 16 (Reuters) - Car rental firm Avis Europe (AVE.L) said on Friday revenue for the first four months of the year, including the key Easter period, was up in all major markets excluding Spain and stuck to its full-year outlook.

Revenue in Spain was flat on a like-for-like basis, Avis said.

It said the strength of the euro was beginning to affect trading, particularly inbound business from the United States into Europe and UK outbound business into Continental Europe.

However, currency movements were having a positive effect on the translation of the net cost of the UK activities of the group, Avis added. (Reporting by Erica Billingham, editing by Will Waterman)
