Metso wins two board machines order in China

HELSINKI, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Finnish engineering company Metso (MEO1V.HE) said on Monday it had won an order for two board machines from China's Nine Dragons Paper (2689.HK).

It did not disclose the value of the deal, but said these types of machines are usually worth around 50 million euros ($73.5 million) per unit.

Metso said the orders were booked in the fourth quarter order backlog in 2007. The new machines were scheduled to start production in early 2009. (Reporting by Terhi Kinnunen; Editing by David Cowell)
