TEXT-NZ's Contact Energy says secures additional gas

WELLINGTON, July 30 - Contact Energy has entered into a new gas sale agreement with OMV for the supply of an additional 32 petajoules of natural gas from the Pohokura gas field.

This supply will commence at the completion of the existing arrangement with OMV, on 31 March 2012, and will terminate on 31 December 2013.

The agreement is conditional on regulatory consents being obtained.
