BNSF says adds 30 mln shares to buyback program

Feb 14 (Reuters) - Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp. (BNI.N) said board added 30 million shares to the company's buyback program of 180 million shares.

The railroad company has repurchased over 165 million shares since the program began in 1998, reducing its shares outstanding by about 25 percent, the company said in a statement. (Reporting by Kuncheria Cholemkeril in Bangalore)
