Neurobiological Technologies gets Memantine royalty of $2.1 mln

Feb 20 (Reuters) - Drug development company Neurobiological Technologies Inc NTII.O said it got about $2.1 million in royalty payments on sales of Memantine, a treatment for Alzheimer's disease, for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2007.

Under an exclusive marketing agreement, the company receives quarterly royalty payments on sales of Memantine from Merz Pharmaceuticals GmbH and its marketing partners. (Reporting by Manish Gupta in Bangalore; Editing by Pratish Narayanan)
