PCTEL sees Q1 revenue below Wall Street views

Jan 24 (Reuters) - Telecommunications software and hardware maker PCTEL Inc. (PCTI.O) forecast first-quarter revenue below analysts' consensus expectations and reaffirmed its previous 2007 revenue outlook.

The company expects to post revenue of $19.3 million to $19.7 million for the quarter, Chief Financial Officer John Schoen said in a conference call.

For 2007, the company said it still sees revenue of $94 million to $100 million.

According to Reuters Estimates, four analysts on average expect the company to post revenue of $21.0 million for the first quarter and $94.3 million for 2007. (Reporting by Sankalp Saini in Bangalore)
