NitroSecurity files registration statement for IPO

Aug 14 (Reuters) - NitroSecurity Inc. said it filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering.

The provider of hardware for the security monitoring, analysis and protection of computer networks said each unit will consist of one share of its common stock and one redeemable warrant to purchase one common share and is expected to trade on the Nasdaq.

It said in a statement it will use the net proceeds from the offering to expand sales and marketing activities, research and technology development, repayment of debt and other general corporate purposes. (Reporting by Nachiket Kelkar in Bangalore)
