Ethan Allen same-store sales slightly up

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Furniture maker and retailer Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. (ETH.N) said on Wednesday its retail written sales at stores open at least a year were "modestly up" in June and July.

"We remain cautiously aware of the fact that consumer confidence can be impacted by several factors that are beyond our control," Ethan Allen Chief Executive Farooq Kathwari said in a statement.
