Anthracite plans offering of $100 mln senior notes

Aug 23 (Reuters) - Anthracite Capital Inc AHR.N said it plans to privately offer $100 million of convertible senior notes due 2027.

It plans to use up to about $20 million of the net proceeds to buy back shares and use the rest to finance its commercial real estate-related investments, the company said in a statement. (Reporting by Bhaswati Mukhopadhyay in Bangalore)
