GTx says prostate-cancer drug reduces hot flashes in men
March 3 (Reuters) - Biotechnology company GTx Inc (GTXI.O) said a late-stage trial showed its experimental drug, toremifene citrate, reduced hot flashes in men who were on Androgen deprivation therapy, a common treatment for advanced prostate cancer.
In late February, the company said a late-stage trial showed the drug reduced spinal fractures and other side effects caused by Androgen deprivation therapy. (Reporting by Jennifer Robin Raj in Bangalore; Editing by Pratish Narayanan)
