Honda posts adjusted 1 pct. gain in U.S. February sales

DETROIT (Reuters) - Honda Motor Co (7267.T) on Monday posted an increase of just under 1 percent in U.S. vehicle sales in February after adjusting for the number of selling days in the month compared with a year earlier.

The automaker said it had sold 115,397 vehicles in the U.S. market in February compared with 110,026 a year earlier.

Honda's reported 0.7 percent gain in monthly sales was adjusted for one additional sales day in February compared with a year earlier.
