Kroger says to expand discount drug program
NEW YORK, May 13 (Reuters) - U.S. supermarket operator Kroger Co (KR.N) said on Tuesday its in-store pharmacies will expand their generic drug program -- offering many 90-day prescriptions for $10.
Last fall, the company introduced a program offering 30-day supplies of more than 300 generic drugs for $4.
The company also said its pharmacies would increase the number of women's health medications it offers at a discount. (Reporting by Martinne Geller; editing by Jeffrey Benkoe)
