Agco buys Brazilian farm implement manufacturer

Sept 18 (Reuters) - Agco Corp AG.N said it agreed to acquire privately held Brazilian provider of farm implements Industria Agricola Fortaleza Limitada (SFIL) to expand the company's product offering in South America.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. SFIL's sales for 2007 are estimated to be about $35 million, the agricultural equipment maker said in a statement. (Reporting by Neha Pathania in Bangalore)
