Arena Resources says board OKs 2-for-1 stock split

Sept 20 (Reuters) - Arena Resources Inc (ARD.N) said its board approved a 2-for-1 stock split in the form of a stock dividend.

The dividend will be distributed on or about Oct. 26 to stockholders of record as of Oct. 15, the oil and gas company said in a statement.

The company said it will have about 34.1 million shares of common stock outstanding, after the split is completed. (Reporting by Anirvan Ghosh in Bangalore)
