Depomed says Watson Pharma to promote UTI drug in new market

Sept 25 (Reuters) - Depomed Inc (DEPO.O) expanded its agreement with Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc (WPI.N) to promote its drug, used to treat urinary tract infections, in the obstetrics/gynecology market.

Regulatory News

Watson and Depomed plan to re-launch the drug, ProQuin XR, in the U.S. market by the end of this year, the company said in a statement.

In July, Depomed and Watson Pharmaceuticals had agreed on co-promotion of ProQuin XR to physicians in urology and long-term care areas. (Reporting by Aditi Samajpati in Bangalore)
