Hi-Tech Pharmacal gets FDA OK for scalp psoriasis treatment

March 23 (Reuters) - Hi-Tech Pharmacal Co. Inc. (HITK.O) said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted it tentative approval for the generic version of Warner Chilcott Ltd.'s (WCRX.O) treatment for psoriasis of the scalp.

Regulatory News

Hi-Tech does not plan to market its topical solution, Calcipotriene, till the expiration of Warner Chilcott's patent due on Dec. 29, 2007, the company said in a statement. (Reporting by Sweta Singh in Bangalore)
