Avid Technology names new CEO

Dec 19 (Reuters) - Avid Technology Inc (AVID.O), a digital video editing and software company, named Gary Greenfield chief executive officer, replacing Nancy Hawthorne, who served as interim CEO since Aug. 1.

Stocks

Greenfield was the CEO of GXS since 2003, Avid said in a statement.
