Amicus sees positive Phase II data for Fabry disease candidate

Dec 19 (Reuters) - Amicus Therapeutics Inc (FOLD.O) said it had positive results from Phase II clinical trials of Amigal for Fabry disease.

Stocks

Based on the results, Amicus said it and its partner, Shire Human Genetic Therapies, plan to meet with U.S. and European regulatory authorities to discuss the design of a Phase III trial.

Shire Human Genetics Therapies is a unit of Shire Plc. (Reporting by Sharangdhar Limaye in Bangalore)
