comScore buys mobile research firm M:Metrics
NEW YORK, May 28 (Reuters) - comScore Inc (SCOR.O) said on Wednesday it bought mobile research firm M:Metrics in a deal including a $44.3 million cash payment and options to buy about 50,000 shares of comScore stock for M:Metrics options holders.
comScore, which tracks Web use on desktop computers said the acquisition closed on Wednesday after approval from the comScore board and shareholders of M:Metrics, which measures mobile advertising and data service use on cell phones.
