Australia's Suncorp says still open to bank sale

SYDNEY, Nov 24 (Reuters) - Suncorp-Metway Ltd (SUN.AX), Australia's second-biggest car and home insurer, said on Monday it would still consider a sale of its banking unit.

Suncorp in October ended talks with potential buyers to sell the unit, saying the process was unlikely to result in suitable offers. (Reporting by Mette Fraende)
