Honda U.S. March sales rise adjusted 4.2 percent

DETROIT (Reuters) - Honda Motor Co Ltd (7267.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Tuesday that U.S. sales rose 4.2 percent in March to 138,734 vehicles on an adjusted basis that takes into account two fewer selling days compared with a year earlier.

Overall, Honda said it sold 83,214 cars, up from 80,633 a year earlier, while truck sales declined to 55,520 for the month, from 62,759 a year earlier.
