Honda U.S. March sales rise adjusted 4.2 percent

DETROIT (Reuters) - Honda Motor Co Ltd (7267.T) said on Tuesday that U.S. sales rose 4.2 percent in March to 138,734 vehicles on an adjusted basis that takes into account two fewer selling days compared with a year earlier.

Overall, Honda said it sold 83,214 cars, up from 80,633 a year earlier, while truck sales declined to 55,520 for the month, from 62,759 a year earlier.
