Reliant Energy names new CFO

Oct 25 (Reuters) - Reliant Energy Inc (RRI.N), an independent power producer, said it appointed Rick Dobson as its chief financial officer, effective Oct. 29.

Dobson fills the position vacated when Marks Jacobs took over as the chief executive earlier this year, the company said in a statement.
