Pier 1 January same-store sales down 13.2 pct

Feb 1 (Reuters) - Pier 1 Imports Inc. (PIR.N) said it recorded a 13.2 percent fall in January sales at stores open for at least a year.

In a news release, the home decor retailer said sales also fell 13.7 percent to $110.7 million for the four-week period ended Jan. 27, compared with $128.3 million in the year-ago period.
