Accoona files for $80.5 mln IPO

Aug 3 (Reuters) - Accoona Corp., an online services and information company, filed with U.S. regulators on Friday to raise up to $80.5 million in an initial public offering of common stock.

The Jersey City, New Jersey-based company told the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission in a preliminary prospectus that Maxim Group LLC was underwriting the IPO.

The filing did not reveal how many shares the company planned to sell or their expected price.The company plans to apply for listing on the Nasdaq under the symbol "ACNA." (Reporting by Shivani Singh in Bangalore)
