ZURICH, April 20 (Reuters) - Russia's Renova said on Friday it had acquired a 32 percent stake in Swiss engineering firm Sulzer (SUN.S), raising chances the Swiss group would be taken over.

Renova, an investment group controlled by Russian billionaire Viktor Vekselberg, said its total stake in the group would be 18 percent in shares plus an additional 14 percent in physical delivery options, because of the purchase.
