Nation's #1 Selling Battery-Powered Mower Gets Full Redesign; 2
Models Now Available
VERGENNES, Vt.--(Business Wire)--
The nation's #1 selling battery-powered lawn mower company has
added a bigger and more powerful model for 2008. The NEUTON(R)
BATTERY-POWERED MOWER has undergone a complete redesign, and is now
available in two configurations: a 14 in. cut and 19 in. wide-cut.
Still able to be charged on less than 10 cents worth of electricity
and still the quietest lawn mower available, the new NEUTON(R) line is
able to cut larger lawns faster than ever.
Introducing the Fastest, Most Powerful NEUTON(R) Battery-Powered
Mower:
The flagship of the new line, the 19 in. wide-cut NEUTON(R)
BATTERY-POWERED MOWER will tackle up to 1/3 of an acre on a single
charge. It springs to life quietly, with the simple push of a button,
relegating the back straining pull-cord and associated belch of fumes
to a distant memory.
Incorporating feedback from over 100,000 NEUTON(R) owners, this
wider, faster model retains many of the utilitarian innovations of its
predecessor, including an easy-to-use drop-in battery that can be
charged inside or outside of the mower, an integrated battery voltage
level indicator and an optional trimmer and edger attachment. New
enhancements to cut larger lawns faster include a heavy-duty 750 watt,
36 volt motor that delivers all the convenience of a battery mower but
with the cutting power of a gasoline engine.
Additional Improvements to the NEUTON(R) Line-Up:
An instant hit when it was launched in 2003, the NEUTON(R)
BATTERY-POWERED MOWER won fans for its light weight, ease of use and
its production of virtually no greenhouse gas pollution. The entire
NEUTON(R) line has been redesigned to build on the original NEUTON(R)
mower's solid foundation of environmentally-conscious usability and
reliability.
Notable improvements to the line-up include stronger motors (500
watt, 24 volt, 32 amp in the 14 in. model and 750 watt, 36 volt, 50
amp in the 19 in. model) and heavy-duty steel Aero Blades. Bagging,
mulching, and side discharge is now standard on both models. The mower
housing and user controls have also been ergonomically designed to
allow for easy adjustments and maximum maneuverability. Cut height can
be easily adjusted from 1.2 in. to 3 in. with a single lever and the
machines start and stop with a simple push-button and safety pull bar.
Pricing and Warranties:
The NEUTON(R) BATTERY-POWERED MOWER list price starts at $399 for
the 14 in. model; $499 for the 19 in. model, with special introductory
discounts currently available.
The NEUTON(R) BATTERY-POWERED MOWER emerged through various
prototypes and was subjected to rigorous comparison testing (over 500
hours of testing and over 100 acres of ground mowed) before a final
design was released to the marketplace.
In addition to a free six month trial, NEUTON(R) Power Equipment
also offers a 2 year warranty on the NEUTON(R) BATTERY-POWERED MOWER.
