Wipro, Harman to launch India embedded engg centre

BANGALORE, Sept 2 (Reuters) - A unit of India's No. 3 software services exporter, Wipro Ltd (WIPR.BO), and U.S. audio equipment maker Harman International (HAR.N) said on Tuesday they would jointly launch an embedded engineering centre in India.

The Harman India Development Centre will operate from Wipro Technologies' extisting facilities in Bangalore and Chennai, the companies said in a statement. (Reporting by Sumeet Chatterjee)
