NYMEX to conduct moment of silence Fri for member

NEW YORK, Sept 5 (Reuters) - The New York Mercantile Exchange will conduct a moment of silence at 11 a.m EDT (1500 GMT) Friday to honor a recently deceased member, energy traders told Reuters.

Traders said NYMEX asked all CME Globex users to voluntarily stop trading NYMEX products during the time period.
