Korea Exch suspends KOSPI programme buying

SEOUL, Oct 31 (Reuters) - The Korea Exchange temporarily suspended programme buying orders on the main board Korea Composite Stock Price Index on Friday due to volatile futures prices.

The suspension, the sixteenth this year, lasted for five minutes from 0021 GMT.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index was up 1.67 percent at 1,102.48 points as of 0024 GMT.
