For the full year, the company said it expects revenue in
the range of $1.39 billion to $1.42 billion.
Analysts on average were expecting revenue of $1.41
billion, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
For the second quarter ended June 30, the company earned
$19.8 million, or 21 cents per share, compared with $15.1
million, or 18 cents a share, a year ago.
Adjusted net income was 25 cents per share, the company
said in a statement.
Revenue for the quarter rose 18.1 percent to $299.6 million.
Analysts on average were expecting earnings of 25 cents a
share, excluding items, on revenue of $290.9 million, according
to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
Core price increased by 3 percent and volumes grew by 7.2
percent in Canada. In the United States, core price grew by 2
percent and volumes grew by 3.4 percent, the company added.
Shares of the company closed at C$23.41 Tuesday on the
Toronto Stock Exchange.
