Vectren beats by $0.05; guides FY07 EPS higher

Reports Q3 (Sep) earnings of $0.22, excluding non-recurring items, $0.05 better than Reuters Estimates consensus of $0.17; revenues rose 12% YoY to $381.4 mln vs the $374.85 mln consensus. Co issues upside guidance for Q4, sees EPS of $1.80-1.90 vs $1.75-1.85 consensus. Co issues in-line guidance for FY08, sees EPS of $1.85-2.00 vs $1.91 consensus.
