India's FY11 growth could be revised up-govt official

NEW DELHI, June 10 (Reuters) - India’s annual economic growth for the 2010/11 fiscal year that ended in March could be revised upwards from 8.5 percent on new industrial output index, Chief Statistician T.C.A. Anant told reporters on Friday.

Earlier, India released a new industrial output index with a different base year of 2004/05, new components and weightings. (Reporting by Manoj Kumar; editing by Malini Menon)
