NBC loses money on Beijing Olympics

NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - NBC Universal lost money on the Beijing Olympics, executives of parent company General Electric said Friday.

In their third quarter earnings conference call, they said NBC Universal generated more than $1 billion in revenue from the Olympics, but wrote a loss on the event. They didn't disclose the size of the loss.
