Time Warner sees AOL ad growth for year below Q1's

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Time Warner Inc. said on Wednesday it expected AOL online advertising sales growth this year to be at or above U.S. industry rates, but below the first quarter's 40 percent rate.

"We are very pleased with the progress that it has made with the new advertising strategy," Time Warner Chief Executive Richard Parsons said on a morning conference call.
