Laura Ashley buys more shares in Moss Bros
LONDON (Reuters) - British fashion and furnishings retailer Laura Ashley (ALY.L) again raised its stake in potential takeover target Moss Bros (MOSB.L), the men's fashion retailer, up to 5.05 percent, it said on Wednesday.
Laura Ashley bought 500,000 shares in Moss Bros, a potential acquisition target for Icelandic investment group Baugur which has said it is considering making an offer, for 45p a share, a slight premium to the 44.5p closing price on Tuesday.
Laura Ashley has gradually increased its holdings in recent months and previously held 4.4 percent of the shares having bought a tranche of shares a week ago.
