Sanyo to keep semiconductor unit: source
TOKYO (Reuters) - Sanyo Electric (6764.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) will keep its semiconductor unit because its talks with Advantage Partners LLP on the sale of the unit failed, a source familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.
The Nikkei business daily reported earlier Sanyo has ended talks with Advantage because Advantage is facing difficulty raising money amid the subprime mortgage loan crisis.
