LONDON (Reuters) - XG technology said on Tuesday the launch of its planned voice-over-Internet protocol (VoIP) network in Florida was set for November, and networks in six to eight other areas would deployed shortly after.

It added that it was on track to have fourth-generation (4G) products available in 2008.

4G communications will allow the Internet, video and data to be streamed to phones and computers faster than current 2G and 3G services.
