NEW YORK (Reuters) - Viacom Inc's Paramount Pictures movies studio said on Monday that it would create a division to develop and distribute programming on wireless devices.

Media companies including Viacom have been trying to make their programming available more widely available, aiming to court advertisers who are interested in reaching consumers wherever they spend time.
