NBC Universal removes YouTube channel

NEW YORK (Reuters) - General Electric Co's NBC Universal said on Monday it has removed its promotional videos from Google Inc's YouTube online video sharing service ahead of an anticipated test launch of its own video service.

NBC Universal is expected to launch a private test of its online video joint venture with News Corp, Hulu, later this month.

An NBCU spokeswoman said the company would consider making its videos, including clips from "Saturday Night Live" available on other services in the future.
