Iran website: granddaughter of Khomeini detained

TEHRAN, Feb 11 (Reuters) - An Iranian opposition website said security forces detained the granddaughter of late revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini and her husband on Thursday.

The Jaras website said Zahra Eshraqi and her husband Mohammad Reza Khatami -- a brother of reformist former president Mohammad Khatami -- were detained during rallies marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic revolution. Jaras said a son of leading opposition figure Mehdi Karoubi was also detained. (Tehran newsroom, +98 21 8820 8770)
