Germany's K+S bids for Rossleben potash mine

FRANKFURT, Sept 30 (Reuters) - K+S SDFG.DE is participating in the tender to operate the Rossleben potash mine with a proposed investment of more than 600 million euros ($861 million), the German potash maker said on Tuesday.

“The economic environment for the reactivation of the deposit has improved as a result of the globally rising demand for potash fertilisers,” the company said in a statement. (Reporting by Mantik Kusjanto)
