VIETNAM NEWS

-- Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will visit Britain, Germany and Ireland between March 3 and 11.

-- Vietnam's industrial output reached nearly 100 trillion dong ($6.2 billion) in the first two months of this year, an increase of 16.3 percent from the same period last year, the Industry and Trade Ministry said.

-- The International Finance Corp will provide 300 billion dong ($18.7 million) more to Sacombank STB.HM to fund home mortgages and home improvement loans, taking IFC's credit to the lender to 800 billion dong.

-- Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung said lending to home buyers would continue to develop the property market. He said the current "hot" property market was the result of a lack of supply.
