PESHAWAR, Pakistan, June 25 (Reuters) - Residents of a northwestern Pakistani town captured by Taliban militants this week said on Wednesday they had found the bodies of 22 men the militants had abducted.

The abducted men, rivals of the Taliban and members of a government-run group promoting peace, were found just outside Jandola, which the Taliban captured on Monday, residents said.

"All the bodies are riddled with bullets," said one resident, Rehmatullah. (Reporting by Alamgir Bitani; Editing by Robert Birsel)
