Israeli missile kills 2 Palestinians off Gaza

GAZA, Oct 20 (Reuters) - Two Palestinians were killed by an Israeli missile off the coast of the Gaza Strip on Saturday, the Islamic Jihad militant group and local medics said.
An Islamic Jihad official said one of its fighters and a civilian were killed when an Israeli missile hit their boat in the Mediterranean off the Gaza Strip.
The official said the missile was fired from an Israeli ship and that the two were lifeguards on duty.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said a helicopter gunship fired at two Palestinians, one of them a member of Islamic Jihad, who were in a boat off the coast of the Gaza Strip, but gave no further details.
Palestinian medics said they recovered one body from the water and were searching for the second.
