France says Comorian rebel in Mayotte
PARIS, March 26 (Reuters) - France said on Wednesday that Comorian rebel leader Mohamed Bacar was in the French-run Indian Ocean island of Mayotte.
But a spokeswoman for France's ministry for overseas territories declined further comment after the Comoros repeated earlier statements that it had issued an international arrest warrant for Bacar.
"I can confirm it but I can't make any further comment at this time," she said.
