UK's Brown sees U.S. decision on troops shortly

LONDON, Nov 11 (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said on Wednesday he expected a U.S. decision on troops for Afghanistan "in a few days".

U.S. President Barack Obama is currently weighing his options over his strategy for the war in Afghanistan.

"I have also spoken to President Obama and I expect him to announce in a few days what his numbers for Afghanistan will be," Brown told the British parliament.
