Nov 12 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1500 GMT on Thursday.

* denotes a new or updated item.

* MOSUL - Iraqi police found the body of a man with gunshot wounds in western Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

* MOSUL - Gunmen in a speeding car shot dead a teenager in western Mosul, police said.

* MOSUL - Gunmen shot dead a government employee in northern Mosul, police said.

* MOSUL - A militant hurled a hand grenade at a police patrol in eastern Mosul, wounding two policemen, police said.

* BAGHDAD - Gunmen in a speeding car killed the headmistress of a secondary school in central Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded three people when it exploded near a bank in central Baghdad, police said.

BALAD - Gunmen killed a policeman and wounded three others at a checkpoint near Balad, 80 km (50 miles) north of Baghdad on Wednesday, police said.

BAGHDAD - A bomb attached to a car wounded four people in eastern Baghdad on Wednesday, police said.

KIRKUK - Gunmen wounded a policeman in a drive-by shooting on Wednesday in southern Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BASRA - Three prisoners accused of carrying out militant attacks escaped on Wednesday from a prison in central Basra, 420 km (260 miles) southeast of Baghdad, police said.
